The food was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the [chicken briyani ], and it was easily one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The flavors were bold, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were generous. The prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality of food. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this fantastic restaurant!

DELICIOUS FOOD! I went to this restaurant with no expectation, the lamb curry was so good, their naan bread is rich, soft, and crunchy outside. Biryani was so fragrant, I loved cardamom aroma. This place is more for take out, I dined in and it was served on take out containers. It took me by surprise but as soon as I started eating, the plastic containers and cutleries did not bother me at all. Price was decent, potion was generous too. I’ll for sure order take out next time, 100% recommend!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Without exaggeration this is the best Indian food I have eaten in Calgary - ever. The regular restaurant we go to for Indian food was closed so we looked up on the internet what else was close by and found this restaurant almost by accident. It is a complete hole-in-the-wall place, totally unassuming with only 3 tables for dine in and designed mainly for take out. Our party of four started with the samosa’s with chick peas. Our main courses were chicken saag wala (spinach), lamb rogan josh, okra masala, and aloo gobi. We also ordered the rice peas pulao, the laccha paratha, and butter naan. Everything was simply excellent. Definitely recommend the chicken saag wala which is way down the menu, and the okra masala. The young lady at the counter was extremely pleasant with a winning smile. The chef came out to see if we liked the food. He had a hat on which impressed us a lot given it was mainly a take out place with few dine-in customers so this was habit and hygiene rather than for show. Dining in this little unassuming place designed mainly for take out was just the most pleasurable stress-free experiences. The bill came to 137 before tip. We had plenty of food left over for take-away - enough for another meal for four. Total thumbs up!

In my quest to find the best chicken Korma in Calgary (joking, but I do eat a lot of chicken korma) I keep coming back to this restaurant. They have the best Korma in all of Skips delivery radius of my home. Cheese na’an is also of a good quality. Nice one. Keep it up

We just found our new favourite Indian restaurant. Our usual place was closed so we decided to try Maya's. We had 6 or 7 items from the menu and each one was a 10 out of 10. The chef (owner?) came out to check on how we were doing. It was obvious that he takes pride in his work. The server was lovely, knowledgeable and attentive. Maya's is mostly a take-out restaurant (free delivery within a certain radius) but there are a few tables for dine-in. Clean and charming!

Overall solid Indian food. You walk in and the place just smells good. Portion sizes were in line with other Indian takeout places, dishes were full. I ordered two meat dishes and two veggie ones. Everything tasted great, spice level was in line with the type of curry ordered, butter chicken was spiced for everyone and the spicier beef vindaloo is one of the best I’ve had. Will order again
